Founded in 1998, United Vision began as a retail optical store accompanied by a small eye clinic, centrally located on Shwebonthar Street in Yangon, Myanmar. From its inception, the company has been committed to providing quality eye care services by offering professional eye examinations conducted by licensed ophthalmologists. To enhance customer satisfaction and convenience, United Vision introduced same-day delivery of prescription eyewear to clients who purchased frames from its store—a service that quickly set the company apart from its competitors.

This customer-first approach soon earned United Vision a strong reputation in the Yangon area. To further strengthen brand visibility and public awareness, the company launched a strategic television advertising campaign promoting its ability to deliver prescription glasses within one hour. This marketing effort proved highly successful and significantly increased nationwide recognition of the United Vision brand. Within just two years, the company captured a substantial share of the optical market across Myanmar.

As its popularity and customer base grew, United Vision pursued expansion by opening additional branches in key regions throughout the country. Today, the company operates eight optical stores in Yangon and one in Mandalay, all of which are strategically located in high-traffic commercial areas.
